Rene Yap

Rene is an Associate of the firm. She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London, completed her pupillage in Skrine, and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2020.
 
Rene specializes in Family Law and Employment Law. With a practical and client-focused approach, she provides clear, effective legal advice and representation across a range of legal matters.
 
As an Employment Lawyer, Rene has represented both claimants and companies in the Industrial Court, enabling her to offer well-rounded advice, taking into consideration the perspectives of all parties involved. She has also successfully secured many favourable settlements for her clients.
 
In her Family Law practice, Rene has represented clients in divorce matters which include handling matters relating to child custody, maintenance, and the division of matrimonial assets. She is also experienced in the preparation of pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and separation agreements. Rene takes a pragmatic approach to family law matters, ensuring her clients receive informed guidance throughout the process. She is known for her ability to address both the legal and emotional complexities often involved in family disputes.
