Jason Chong Wai Zhe is an Associate in the firm’s Construction Litigation, Arbitration and Adjudication department. He holds an LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of London, completed his pupillage in Mohanadass Partnership, a reputable firm specializing in construction disputes, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2023.
Jason’s areas of practice cover Construction Litigation, Arbitration and Adjudication (CIPAA 2012). He has been involved and assisted in various domestic and international construction & engineering and oil & gas disputes throughout his career. Apart from these, he has also handled cases relating to defamation, contractual and employment disputes.
Knowing that strong oral advocacy skills are essential in the litigation field, Jason has been an avid mooter back in his university days, representing both his university and Malaysia and won numerous national and international mooting competitions, competing against various law schools from different jurisdictions, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.
