On 18th August 2023, Thomas Philip organized Thomas Philip Merdeka Retreat with Universiti Utara Malaysia students. There were 8 female students and 10 volunteers from Thomas Philip staffs that joined the program. This program took 3 days and 2 nights and was located at Five Palms Beach House, Port Dickson.

The aim was to educate the students with a workshop “Business Development for 21st Century Lawyers”. It was conducted by Ms. Alya Qistina binti Junaidi. There were 4 sessions in total making up the weekend-long workshop such as Professional Grooming for Lawyers, Networking Skills and others.

We ended our program with a CSR Beach Cleaning activity at Teluk Pelanduk Beach, Port Dickson. The participants and TP volunteers together collecting the rubbish including plastic bottles, cigarette filters, diapers, and more. We compiled the trash and properly disposed of the waste. 

We believe that by doing beach cleanups is a way of giving back to the nature and keeps our beaches clean for a fun time.
