On the 3rd and 4th of June 2022, our lawyers Jagshey Pipariya and Mohd Rezan Ezra were invited to judge the general rounds of the Sports Arbitration Mooting Competition (SAMCO) 2022 organized by NAMCO Management LLP and Messrs Richard Wee Chambers.
 
SAMCO is supported by the National Sports Institute, Malaysia (NSI), the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the International Sports Industry Chamber of Commerce (ISICC). SAMCO 2022 is a sports arbitration-based mooting competition catered for law students to acquire a better understanding of sports law and sports arbitration as well as provide a platform for law students to expose themselves to conducting hearings before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
 
With Thomas Philip having a sports arm of its own, Jagshey and Rezan found SAMCO 2022 to be a refreshing experience as participants showcased astute arguments and displayed the confidence and eloquence required of young and upcoming members of the bar.
