On 2 August 2022, a representative of Thomas Philip visited one of the schools located inJenjarom, Selangor, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Jenjarom (SJKTJ). The school of 300 students regularly hosts Kabbadi tournaments for all Tamil schools in their district and they needed donations for Kabbadi mats for an upcoming tournament.

During a meeting with the headmaster, the teachers, and Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), Thomas Philip promptly provided financial assistance, and also proposed for a career talk to be given by its lawyers at the school. We look forward to collaborating with more schools, colleges and universities in the future to provide students with insight into the legal profession.

We at Thomas Philip believe that these children are the future of Malaysia, and that education-focused CSR should be encouraged. Whilst monetary donations are certainly important, other contributions of time and services are also beneficial.
