Where have you been in between?
Currently, I am a postgraduate Law student majoring in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King's College London, and I will graduate in July 2019.

I have been working as an Indonesian lawyer for four years in Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo in association with Clyde & Co, which is one of the prominent Law firms in Indonesia. During my work, I have advised governments, developers, corporates and contractors in sectors covering infrastructure projects including Public Private Partnership (PPP) Projects, power, oil and gas, water, port, and land transportation. I have also engaged in corporate, merger and acquisitions, financing, and banking projects. Then, I have been seconded at the Committee for Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Delivery (KPPIP), a specialized unit in the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia that undertakes the implementation of Priority and National Strategic Projects.

Career progression since TP?
After my internship at Thomas Philip Advocates and Solicitors, I am still pursuing my career in law, especially in construction law.

The future….​​?
I am planning to pursue my career as a construction lawyer and arbitrator.

Reflections on your time in Kuala Lumpur and at Thomas Philip?
From my internship at TP, I have gained my first working experience in a law firm. This significantly shaped my professional development in becoming a lawyer and also provided the basic knowledge of the common law which eventually has contributed to my study at common law system country.
